A golden quote

Bush said. "We should not use public money to support the further destruction of human life."

That's just one of those quotes that makes people giggle from stupidity.

So did he figure this out before... or AFTER we went into Iraq?

But, Bush said Friday, "I made very clear to the Congress that the use of federal money, taxpayers' money, to promote science which destroys life in order to save life, I'm against that. Therefore, if the bill does that, I will veto it."

But it's okay to use taxpayer money to infiltrate a country, destroy their buildings, kill many of their people, to promote freedom.

Am I alone in seeing the hypocrisy in this?

And these embryos that would be used are just getting tossed out anyway. I don't see how that's "Destroying Life to save life". It's more like "Taking a fallen life and making something MEANINGFUL come from it!" But people like Bush, it's their way or the highway. He's got his mind set that the destruction of life without cause is better than giving it purpose under his presidency.

And at the same time they're always developing more WEAPONS for our military to use... so it's okay to use science to DESTROY life, as long as that little add-on about saving life isn't a part of it.

  • RIP Trakker

I woke up and he was very agitated and whining. And when I walked the other dogs, I came back and found that he couldn't even get up, and he pissed…
