Now that my machine is stable again...

I started working on more avatars for Secondlife. Originally I started out making a wolverine, but inspiration left me fairly quickly. I had planned on making some avian avatars for a while as there aren't many available to SLers. So I started with a sort-of golden eagle (Save without the golden feathers on the back of the neck).

I didn't get a chance to make the wings yet, but it looked really funny without them, so I made a rudimentary set of folded wings. Looks awful, but better than nothing. I'll make the real wings, and the skin for the avatar tomorrow. I also need to make some feathers that hang over the feet as well.
