Well despite popular opinion...

I really like the idea behind the Nintendo Remote Controller. Read here for more info and actual gameplay testing info: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3143782

I know a lot of people are whining about it, and frankly the concerns I've seen aren't valid. The only concern -I- have is Nintendo not getting any 3rd party developers for it. This seems to be their standard problem, and if they don't get any good games for the Revolution, I'm just not going to bother with their consoles anymore. Sure I'll get one for Zelda, only because I'm addicted. I also REALLY want the Revolution for one major thing - the WiFi Downloadable Library.

I'm looking forward to actually being able to play FPS's, by aiming and firing. I look forward to sports games, that will require I actually -play- the sport, not the controller. I also look forward to hack-n-slash sword fighting games (Zelda potential).

And just imagine how Metroid is going to be with this badboy...

So a lot of people don't like it. I don't think a lot of people are thinking much about it. Kind of like the same reason all the presidents have been older white guys. Tradition is for sheep.*

*We won't go into the life expectancy/survival rates of carnivores, however.
