Why Big Corps suck for Little guys

So Bow called Time Warner Cable today, to get it all set up for the new place. Well the new place isn't cable ready, so they're going to have to drive out there and figure out if it can get cable. The MLS listing for the house says cable is available in the neighborhood. Time Warner ain't so sure. So they said it could take up to 10 days to figure out if the house gets cable. In the meantime, we're not getting local phone service cuz.. we have cell phones. And Cell phones are a lot cheaper than landline phones these days anyway.

Anyway, if we can get cable, they said it probably won't be set up til Nov 9th.

So that means no internet for a while. No BT, no SL, no nothing. All work and no internet makes Jakkal something something. At least I'll be able to work on some paintings I've wanted to get done, and make a nice BT stockpile so I can be lazy when we do get internet back.

Man, that's going to suck some royal ass if we can't get high speed internet though. I can kiss SL goodbye. Which sucks a lot, because I Love it. Oh well, we'll have to wait an see I guess.

I was going to write more in this whinefest, but Uath decided to try to talk to me while I was typing this, and that always kills my concentration.
