It scares me a little because he's trying to get into small dark places. He'll be 17 years old this year, and I'm afraid he's doing the "find a spot to die" thing. He seems like he has a fever, but I have no thermometer, and I'm always cold, so everything always feels hot to me. So I'm not sure.
The big thing is, he's pissed twice in the house, but it doesn't smell *really* bad, like when he had the bladder infection before. Anyone know what this might be? It's not 'typical aging" because he was fine a few days ago. I'm a little concerned that he might have picked up something from Midnite, since she was at the vet, and this started happening tonight.
This weekend, I had been thinking about Bobo and his age, and how he has outlived his "sister" steffi by a year. He is quite old, and I tried to spend a lot of time with him this weekend because I don't think he's going to last the year. Right now, I find my thoughts drifting towards taking him to the vet and putting him to sleep. He wouldn't be the first dog we've had this done to, but our other dog was in obvious pain. Bobo, it's really hard to tell. He's always whining a little, he's not at all yelping, or groaning or anything like that. He seems fine because he won't stop walking around.
Meh, rambling again. The biggest problem is that we just spent a small fortune on Midnite, and taking Bobo to the vet is really... not something we can easily pay for right now.
I've got him outside now, I can't let him piss in the house again. I just hope he pulls through by the morning.
