Anyway, that was now my... 5th... or 6th... hurricane. It was my 4th that the hurricane made landfall in NC, and the 2nd that came close to passing right over us. Fran was still the first, since it's eye actually went over Raleigh. I remember standing on the balcony with some friends when the hurricane hit. Suddenly a tree came down and hit the roof, and was leaning on the balcony. Needless to say I stayed inside the rest of the night.
Anyway, enough of the past. Time to look to the future. We move next weekend, to Raleigh, yay! I'm actually finding myself considering going back to NCSU for... get this, meterology. Meterology was always something I've been interested in. And after Fabien and Isabel, I found that love rekindled. I've always ALWAYS been a big natural disaster buff as well. And the thought of studying natural disasters and possible warning systems really makes me wanna go for it. But I honestly don't think I'd be able to get past the physics and the calculations. Math isn't my thing at all. So here I am, considering it. But we might be moving again next year, so I'd only be able to get a semester in before I'd possibly have to move. But whatever, I think I can easily transfer or just stay in Raleigh til I'm done. We'll have to see.
