Let the eye rolling begin!

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, who has accused congressional Republicans of "grandstanding" in the Terri Schiavo case, said his party will use it against the GOP in coming elections.

Republican National Committee spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt said Dean, a physician who practiced internal medicine, was the one politicizing the issue.

"It's disturbing that Howard Dean would plot to use the life of Terri Schiavo for political gain," Schmitt said Saturday. "This demonstrates a troubling lack of sensitivity and one would hope that Democrat leaders in Congress would reject such a strategy.

If that isn't a comment of "It didn't work for us, it shouldn't work for you!" I don't know what is.

We overlook the most wonderful things

Bobo, my 15 year old dachshund, has this thing lately that he doesn't want to lay in his bed. I've tried changing the pillow, refluffing it, flattening it, nothing works. I don't think it's the bed, but the cover that gets him. See he's a dachshund, as I mentioned already, and they like to sleep under covers. He keeps pushing his off the bed, then he gets cold and wants to curl up in it. Well, I looked down one day and caught this picture:

Isn't that so cute? Yes, he covered himself up like that.
