Of Arts and Trucks

I am very much looking forward to the next couple of issues of BT - a stark change from the last issue that took damn near half a year to complete. Mental note, never do that again. Really, that was two issues in one, from Lore's side of the story, and Nat's side of the story. If you think it ended too abruptly, keep reading.

This weekend I bought a new book on color theory, and coloring Illustrations in Photoshop. I would like to start making BT look more like a comic, but still get it done in the 5-6hour window I can do it in now. I really don't like the way the comics look boring in their panel placement and such, but really when I'm trying to get a daily comic done, I don't have a lot of time to consider the options. I hope to eliminate that by getting a jump on the next few issues.

Okay, remember that ZR2 I posted about in one of my posts yesterday? Well... I just happened to find another one. Blue. ZR2. Tonneau cover. The thing about this one - 2003 with much less miles. It's just a little more expensive than the other one. We might go take a peek at it tomorrow. The only reason I'm considering this is hoping to get out of paying a car loan much sooner, and It would be nice to have a smaller truck, better mileage, and the low miles. We bought the Silverado with almost 100k miles on it. I'm sure it'll run strong with that many, but that's 100k miles of "where has this truck been??". Of course, there's always the issue of "the devil you know vs the devil you don't".

I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Times like this I don't want to be a fatalist, dragging me through piles of shit it is. Well, no it's not that bad. The second ZR2 I found was sold already. Already. Damn. Oh well, there will be others.

Now I have art and stuff to work on.
