And I picked up the Narnia video game to go with the movie.
And just as a public service announcement (Cuz the cut scenes were from the movie)...
You'd think if they could CGI realistic gryphons, centaurs, minotaurs and talking lions...
They'd know the difference between a DOG and a WOLF. (Or at least CGI those dogs to look like wolves...)
With all the little shits in the therian community, running around whining, bitching and complaining about anything that puts wolves in a negative light...
I haven't heard anyone complaining about Narnia.
Now I'm not anti-Narnia, despite the two entries I've made about it were complaints. I'm looking forward to watching the movie. I didn't read the books as a kid, but I saw some of the shows on Nickelodeon when I was a little kid, so I know a little bit of what's going on.
But wolves -are- the bad guys in the movie. Maybe people didn't know this. Oops. But they are. And wolves often get a bad rap, to which people rant, rave and complain. Yet no one's said anything about this movie.
Of course, I don't really care. I know the movie was made by a christian theologist (So I'm told). The Christian overtones are obviously there. And C.S. Lewis is obviously no animal behaviorist, so I don't expect accuracy at all. Wolves were always considered evil thus they're almost always the bad guys. This movie fits that particular mold.
But I am still amazed that no one (That I've seen anyway) has complained about the wolves in the movie. Or the game, hell the first thing you kill in the game are wolves... then you end up slaughtering hundreds of them. Almost made me sad, but shit it's just a game.
