I remember when I was in college, one of my professors (In biology) told me that science is the art of disproving everyone else. At first I thought that was just a cynical view of it. But really, it's true on some level. A scientist comes up with something, writes their papers, and every other scientists giggle in glee like hyenas and vultures to a fresh kill. Science works because the most intelligent people in the world have tried to tear apart everyone's work until it stands, and faces them, without being taken down. Creationists, on the other hand, just expect you to believe it, because that's what /faith/ is. And faith has no business being in the realm of science.
