I paid off the Cintiq today! I originally bought it on my credit card and put aside $300/month to pay it off. And I just sent in the last payment. Let me tell you, it's worth every penny. And if you're into doing livestream drawings, it makes things so much easier and you can get livestream commissions to pay it back! I really do recommend it to anyone that's serious about doing digital art.

In other news, for the past week, I've needed to get the Oldsmobile to the shop. The lock key got stuck in the door's lock cylinder (Or whatever it'scalled). And then at the same time, on the passenger side, the door mechanism between the handle on the outside, and the thing that lets the door open, broke. So now I couldn't get either door open! I called out AAA to see if they can help, and they sent a dude out, and for an hour we tried to get into the car with no luck. The doors are unlocked but it seemed like the door opening mechanisms for both doors were broken to the point the doors won't open.

So for the past week I was mulling over two ways of entry: #1 Break a window. I've been pricing the rear windows and they're about $50, not sure how much to replace. #2. There's a leatherish cover between the back seat and the trunk, where the top folds down. If you remove that you can actually get into the car from the trunk. The problem is that I would have to cut that cover.

So while I was exploring these options of bodily injury on my car, for shits and giggles yesterday morning, I was walking Doobie, and I went over to it and just casually pulled on the driver's door handle. IT OPENED. I mean while the tow truck dude was here, I pulled and tugged and PULLED AND TUGGED and it would not open. And then I go out there and it's just *pop* open.

This furthers my belief that the car is trying to make me miserable.

The Cintiq is worth more than the car.

I mean that literally.

And there is a kind of irony to the song that's playing right now on Pandora.
